Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas Everyone! hope you all had great Christmasses. i got a new Laptop and a New sister for christmas!! the Laptop is Purple with black, turquise, dark purple, sliver and green stars on it with a B in the middle. so now i am blogging to you from that. I also got a new sister! her name is Mia. she is a Figure Skater. she came yesterday morning and when Meline took our picture with our presents, Mia snuck out from behind the tree to be in the picture, and when Meline showed us, we saw her and she came out and gave us all hugs.

Lots of Updates!

Hey Guys! sorry i haven't been blogging lately, but with Christmas and our choir competition, i just haven't found the time. first things first. I am over Kade. he and I are still great friends, and that is exactly how it is going to stay. I like being friends with him and i don't really need a boyfriend so yeah. in other news........ we got third place at our Competition! everyone sounded great, it all went off without a hitch and we even did well in the final part where they gave us a song and gave us two hours to do something with it. our song was "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree"  and it turned out really good since we only had two hours to work on it. our next competition is January 23. we are going to work really hard and try to jump up to second. we are keeping the soloists and duets, but we are changing the songs. we haven't picked the songs we are going to use yet because after the competition, Mrs. Yati let us have a fun week and all we sang was Christmas Carols. we will be deciding the songs after we get back from break i will be sure to let you know.

Kade has a Girlfriend?!?!

yeah, you read right. Kade has a girlfriend. her name is Alexis. Kade introduced her to me today at school. now she is hanging out with us. she's not that bad, she is a cheerleader, but not a super stuckup one like most. i think i could grow to like her

I GOT THE DUET!!!!

OH. MY. GOSH! I got the duet!!!! the song is "Wouldn't Change a Thing" from Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. and best of all, guess who I get to do it with?!? Kade!!! it is soo cool! I am super excited!! we need lots of pratice, particularlly me, because i love that song and i am used to singing both parts by myself. so now, when we pratice it, i start to sing Kade's part with him, which i am not supposed to do. but i am still super excited!!!

Chior Compititon

Hey there! I was so excited about being in the movie that i forgot to tell you about my choir competition! We didn't place :( we got 5th. but that is still high enough to go to the next round. we didn't know that we were supposed to have soloists and duets for our compition but now we do so we are working on picking people to do those. I got the Girl's Solo! I am going to sing the same song I used to audtion. it is the one i wrote about my mom "Never Forget"  they also have a boy's solo, a girl's duet, a boy's duet and a boy/girl duet. Meghan and another girl, Angela got the girl's duet and Kade and Arron got the boy's duet and a boy named Christopher got the Solo. Monday Mrs. Yati is going to announce who gets to do the boy/girl duet. i kinda hope i get to do it, but i don't want to be selfish, i alredy have the solo. the next compititon is  December 19. i am really excited! Happy Thanksgiving!

Exciting News!

Ok, as you may or may not know, my sisters are all in a movie. the soft title for the movie is Codename: Aleah. my sister Felicity is playing Aleah, and Amanda is a boy named Jonathan, Josefina was the Evil Queen and Lanie is the Maid. but, the girl who played the princess got fired, so they asked Josefina to play the part. and then they asked me to be the Queen! i am going to be in a movie!!!

Updates!

Hey! Again, i am sorry for not posting in so long, i have been soo busy with school and friends. Arron, Jake and Kade have kinda joined our group. and Kade and I are bbecoming really good friends, though i haven't told him i have a crush on him yet. honestly, i don't want to make it awkward, and since i don't really want to date, (wayyy to much drama for my taste)being friends is perfectly  fine. Also, a bunch of the boy's joined the Chorus in my school, Kade included! now the Innerstar Acadmey Chorus is Eligable to enter in compititions! our first one is on Saturday. We are Singing "Do a Deer" from the Sound of Music. Mrs. Yati, our director picked that one because of all the diffrent parts for boys and girls.   in other news, Josefina has become punk. she is now making everyone call her Josie, and has taken to wearing punk looking clothes. but at the same time, she still likes going to GGA and doing her Mexican dancing. It is kinda strange, because she also wants to get highlights and a cartlige pircing. (she also want's a nose pircing, but she said she is kinda scared to do that)

hey there! sorry i couldn't post about this yesterday, but my computer kept freezing. so here is what happened at my first day of Follow Your Innerstar Academy:

Tabitha and Meghan and I all walked into the auditorium where we were instructed to go at the beginning of school. then Principle Monra came up and announced her new co-principle Mr.Mokla. he of corse said a few words along the lines of "we are so happy that Follow your star acadmey could partner with Innerstar U. this will be a momentus day" though it was longer and said something about them origonally being fearfull of mixing the boys and girls together, but that was the basic jist of it. after the assembly, we all went to our homerooms and during homeroom, Mrs. Vengaita had all of us lead someone arround. Meghan was assigned to a boy named Jake. Tabitha was assigned to a boy named Arron and i was assigned to Kade. since the rest of the day was devoted to us showing the boys arround, expesally to their classrooms, Meghan, Tabitha, Jake, Arron, Kade and I all kinda toured together. it was really fun! and ya know, Kade is kinda cute :) he has these really pretty blue eyes. and georgous brown hair that kinda falls into his face, but it isn't too long. i hate guys with really long hair, it bugs me. ;)

Sorry and Big News!

Hi guys! sorry i haven't posted in awhile, but school hit kinda hard and i didn't get the chance. But now i have some free time to tell you about the big news at Innerstar University! Friday we had an all school assembly announcing that our Innerstar U partnered with Follow Your Star Academy, a local all boys school to form Follow Your Innerstar Academy! Half of the girls are being transferred to what was the Boy's school campus and half of the boys are coming here. their first day is Monday when they are having an orientation and we girls each get to show the boys around. luckily, Tabitha and Meghan, another friend of mine, are also staying at the Innerstar campus. things are different because the teachers also got split in half so my classes are a little different. but i will update Monday afternoon and let you know how it turned out

Jelous? of Me?

I can't believe it, but apparently, the real reason Amanda was cold to me was because she was JEALOUS. she was jealous of Meline's time! up until i came, she was the only modern JLY/MAG doll Meline owned, and to add to it, she was the only straight haired doll, with out pin curls, so she felt that with me coming, with my straight hair, and besides the fact of being new, Meline would put aside her and her dreams of becomming an actress, for me, and my dreams of becomming a singer. I told her that Meline would never forget her, she was the first JLY and was bought at an AGP. no girl fogets about the doll she bought at the AGP! after that we realized we could be pretty good friends, and we are going to try and do a music video together. hopefully one that kinda describes our relationship. :D

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!

hey guys! today was my first day of school! it was pretty exciting, because not only was it my first day at innerstar u. it was my first day of high school! pretty scary huh? Although, i must say, knowing Tabitha made it a whole lot easier. this is my class schedule:

Homeroom
1st period: Algebra 1
2ed period: Spanish
3rd period: English
4th peroid: Lunch
5th Peroid: History
6th Peroid: Gym
7th peroid: Chorus

there are somethings i like about this scedulde, some things i don't. I like that Algebra is first because then i get it over and done with each day. and i like that gym is near the end of the day, but i don't like that it is right before gym. luckly, it is an all girls school, so they do girler activites for those who want to. well, it is getting kinda late, so i guess i will go. i can tell you more about the actual classes tomorrow.

Orintation, and a New Friend

Hey there! it's Brooklyn i meant to blog about this Friday afternoon, but i have been so busy because of birthday parties. so on Friday morning it was orientation at innerstar u for all the freshman. they have a middle school too, but i am going to be a freshman, so obviously, i am in the high school (scary) so I was at freshman orientation, and i was kinda lost, cuz i apparently am the only new girl, at least as far as i could tell. so i was kinda alone until i, in the process of being lost, bumped into another girl. "sorry" i said. "it's OK" she replied. "hi I'm Tabitha" she said, sticking out her hand. "Brooklyn" i replied taking the hand. "are you new here?" she asked. "yeah, i am new to the whole area, not just the school" "so you just moved here?" "you could say that" I answered her. "oh, well i can show you arround, just to, ya know, help you through, though we are kinda learning together, being freshman and all"  She said with a giggle. "sure, i'd like that"  i replied. then we rejoined the rest of the tour.  i think this friendship has the potental to be very great.

Farewell, Felicity

well that could've been worse

what am I talking about, in no way could telling my sister she was being retired be any worse. why i had to be the one to tell her, i don't get, i barely know her. but let me start at the beginning

i was wandering around the American girl website this morning when i came upon the Felicity page.right in the middle of the page was a little heart that said "Soon We'll say Farewell to Felicity" I told my sisters -Amanda, Josefina and Lanie, and for some reason they voted me. "we need someone who will let her down gently" Josefina said. "well I am out. why should i tell her, i am kinda happy she is being retired, then maybe she will not be in my face about the movie anymore" Amanda said with a smirk. "besides, I'm not retired." she flipped her hair and stood up to leave." Lanie corrected her "well actually Amanda, JLY# 5 has been retired for over a year. so  you are really old news." "What?!?" Amanda gasped. "you heard what she said Amanda" i answered her. "shut up you newbie!" she said angerly hurrying out of the room as she said it. "harsh" Lanie replied to Amanda's comment. there is still something up with her. "OK we still need to figure out who gets to tell her" Josefina started back on the Felicity issue. "we could all tell her together" I suggested. "yeah, but that could overwhelm her. this is a job for a single person. Brooklyn, since you are the one who discovered it, you should be the one to tell her." why can't Melody do it?" I asked. "because she is the human, this is a job for the dolls. all in favor of Brooklyn telling Felicity about her archival say I" Josefina said "I" Josefina and Lanie chorused. so i didn't' really have a choice. a few minutes later, Felicity walked in, still wearing her costume. Josefina sent me a "good luck" glance as she left the room. "where are they going?" Felicity asked. "i don't know, somewhere. uh, Lissie, i have to show you something." "OK sure what is it?" i opened my computer and pulled up the page with the evil little heart. I saw Felicity's face melt as she read the words on the page. burst out crying and ran out of the room. Beth from the Just me Again Down here Blog is right. AG should donate that heart to some needy kid instead of having it on Felicity and Elizabeth's page! My heart reaches out to all you Felicity's and Elizabeth's out there.

The Secret Reveled!

I have discovered the Secret! Apparently Amanda is a huge Diva! she is playing a boy in a movie and really didn't like it because Felicity got the part she wanted, and Josefina and Lanie got parts too. Girl parts. and Amanda is the one who is an Actress/model so of course she got jealous, and insecure and suspicious. so when Melody announced that they were adopting me, and that i was a singer she got worried that i would "steal her storm" because i was going to go to eather my school, Innerstar U or her school, Eliza Starr school of the Arts. apperently, after it was decided that i would go to Innerstar U, she warmed up a little bit, but is still icy, and no one knows why. i sense there is more to this story, but we will have to wait and see what becomes of my relationship with Amanda

The Secret

When i first met my new family, Amanda was a little Icy and Josefina said she would fill me in later. it sounds as if there is a family secret. i will have to do some more digging but when i do, if i can, i will update you on this mysterous secret

Innerstar University

New Home, New Family, New Blog

Hi there! My name is Brooklyn Matthews. I decided to start this blog since i have a new family and school, as a place to sort my thoughts as my life is changing so dramatically. you see, my mom died from cancer in April. then then this June, my dad and I were  in a car accident and he died. :'o so i was staying with social services for a while till they found a family willing to adopt me. Just recently, i was adopted by the Stephans family. they have 3 other girls who are also adopted. they are Josefina age 13, Amanda age 13 and Felicity age 11. they also have an exchange student from Boston MA and her name is Lanie (she is 12) I am an up and coming singer, Just after my mom died, I participated in my school's 8th grade talent show and won, singing a song i wrote about my mom. and i am going to be attending a private school called Innnerstar University. It is not an actual university, it is just a very elite school for girls that helps them discover their inner star and letting it shine. well, i think i have rambled on enough for today. so bye!
